The Agriculture Department Philosophy

    The Agriculture Department of Lakeland Senior High School believes in the value, worth, and dignity of all individuals. It believes that through educational pursuits it is possible to develop attitudes, habits, skills, understanding, and essential knowledge to make the individual a success in any area. The department believes that agriculture is the economic backbone of our country’s heritage and future. The department also believes that as agriculture changes, the individual must be able to function effectively with the changes and continue to help supply the agricultural needs of the world.
