Philosophy: The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Program is a cooperative
effort on the part of the Army and Lakeland Senior High School. The focus of the
J.R.O.T.C. is to prepare high school students for responsible leadership roles, good
citizenship, and respect for constituted authority which ultimately benefits the
individual, community, and nation. The mission of JROTC is "to motivate
young people to be better citizens".
