Due to the support by LHS administration and faculty and the energy of LHS students, we are very fortunate at Lakeland High School to be able to offer such a wide variety of extra curricular activities for our students. We have everything from highly competitive athletic sports to clubs that actively are involved in community service events and even clubs that are geared more towards interacting socially with your fellow class mates. If you truly want to enrich your high school experience then you need to get involved. In fact, join as many clubs and sports as your schedule will allow for. Get involved as a class officer, join student council, or simply join a club simply be a member. If you happen to have the right GPA and courses, an invitation to join National Honor Society will be offered beginning in the second semester of the sophomore year. Students who get involved make friends, feel like a part of the school, and have a much more rewarding high school experience. These students also qualify for more scholarship opportunities.
