What is TEMPO?

TEMPO is the parent / teacher organization of Lakeland High School, which has a long history of providing volunteers and support to our students, teachers, and administration.  TEMPO is involved in activities associated with hospitality, academic awards, student activities, and our own Naughty Night Drug Free Graduation Party.  We are solely supported through parent and teacher memberships as well as corporate partnerships.

There are many pressures drawing youth to the use of cigarettes, alcohol and other harmful drugs. The strongest pressure on the young adult are social/societal and the need for group acceptance. Social gatherings help to magnify the pressure. Click here for a Parents guide to teen parties.
