Current Scholarship Offers by Deadlines​
  • March 6 -- LHS PTP Scholarship
    ​--
    Parent, grandparent, or legal guardian must be a member of PTP/TEMPO.
    --Minimum GPA 3.0
    --Minimum 100 community service hours
    --Essay: “Tell how you and/or your family has supported PTP/TEMPA throughout your high school years”
     
    Completed application is due to the Guidance office by March 6th, at 2:00pm.

  • March 24 -- Polk School Counselor Association Scholarship
    ​

    --Polk County High School Senior (traditional & non-traditional students)
    --2.0 un-weighted GPA

    --Submit electronic application by March 24, 2023, 11:59PM

    *Multiple $250 scholarships will be awarded. Before scholarships are awarded, proof of post-secondary acceptance and a headshot will be required.

Guidelines Surrounding College Visits
  • Juniors and seniors with a 3.0 GPA are eligible to attend.
  • Passes will not be distributed the day of the event.
  • Students must notify their classroom teachers of their intent to attend prior to registration.
  • Attendance is at the discretion of the classroom teacher.
  • Students are responsible for making up any missed work pursuant to the Code of Conduct
  • A pass from Guidance and your student ID are required for entry
  • No passes are required for lunch and learn visits.
